Murri Rugby League Carnival
The annual Arthur Beetson Foundation Queensland Murri Rugby League Carnival will kick-off at Redcliffe’s Dolphin Stadium from Wednesday, 20th to Saturday, 23rd September 2017 promising footy fans a day of rugby and cultural events with a focus on health and education.
The carnival is renowned for showcasing outstanding Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander rugby league talent with Under 15 Boys, Open Men’s and Open Women’s teams participating from all over Queensland – from Badu Island in the Torres Strait to the Gold Coast and across to Mt Isa.
Held over 4 days, involving over 1,000 players, 47 teams competing, and 20,000 spectators hailing from all across Queensland cheering on from the grandstands – this is one massive, family friendly, rugby celebration you won’t want to miss!
