Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses brings Ovid's tales to stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, Metamorphoses juxtaposes the classic with the contemporary to show the variety of human interation and the inevitable nature of change.

The National Theatre's graduating acting students bring to stunning life Gods and Goddesses, women and men, lovers and orphans. Funny one moment, achingly sorrowful the next, Metamorphoses will touch the most hardened of hearts.
