The Russian National Ballet Theatre returns to Cessnock with the exhilarating and magical journey of The Nutcracker this Christmas!
The Nutcracker is a two act ballet scored by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and first performed in 1892. Having become one of the worlds favorite ballets The Nutcracker tells the story of a fantastical nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve to lead the heroine on a magical journey to the Land of Sweets, ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy. A family Christmas favourite!
