Romeo & Juliet

The Russian National Ballet Theatre is coming back with the forever romantic, the hundred year classic, the most heart-warming dancing you will see this year. A ballet scored by Sergei Prokofiev in 1935 and based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet.

This ballet tells the story of two of Shakespeare's most famous characters, the tragic lovers Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. The tale of these two star-crossed lovers, torn apart by their feuding families, transfers gracefully from play to ballet, the impact and emotion of Shakespeare's tale as evocative as ever.
