Burnie Observation Centre - Penguin Talks and Tours

Every night of the week during the penguin season volunteer guides offer free Talks and Tours of the Burnie penguins. The penguin season runs from the start of October to the end of March. The tours begin with a short talk about the penguin colony, before heading along the boardwalk to see them up close in action.

Visitors can arrive and leave as they wish, though if they wish to hear the talk, start times will vary throughout the season depending on when it begins to become dark (Penguins begin coming in from the sea as it becomes dark). See start time above.
