Firefighters Bridge to Beach Fundraising Dinner
Join us for an evening of fundraising and auction prizes at Headlands Austinmer Beach, to help cure paralysis!
Tickets = $85pp or $800 for table of 10. Tickets include canapes on arrival + main course + drinks package + live entertainment + donation to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation.
Every day in Australia, through spinal cord injury, one life is changed forever. Spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at any time. Young men in the prime of their life are most likely to sustain a spinal cord injury, just like Kurt Drysdale, a promising young Rugby League player injured in 2015 playing the sport that he loves.
Kurt is the inspiration behind this event, and a proud Ambassador of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation
Money raised will support the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation to help find a cure for paralysis. PCSRF funds critical spinal injury research at Griffith University, where plans are underway for a human clinical trial. The therapy to be used in the trial was pioneered by 2017 Australian of the Year Emeritus Professor Alan Mackay-Sim.
On the 31st March 2018, firefighters from across Australia will join forces to raise money and awareness for spinal cord injury research to help cure paralysis. The team will set off from Coalcliff Surf Life Saving Club across the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge and complete the run at Headlands Hotel.
